Whether you are working remotely, are self-employed, or need a quiet, professional place for meetings, Ti-Works offers an affordable and flexible alternative to renting and furnishing your own office. Enjoy the added perks of having Champ’s Café right next door, making it easy to grab coffee or a quick meal without missing a beat.

Ti-Works is an affordable and flexible 24-hour co-working space that provides a professional environment for individual workers. Now located at 113 Montcalm St, Ticonderoga, NY 12883, the building features two distinct yet interconnected units: the front unit houses Champ’s Café, a charming, locally owned coffee shop with a fun “Champ the Lake Monster” theme, while the co-working space is located in the back unit.

Champ’s Café, operated by Katie Anderson, offers a welcoming atmosphere with a variety of delicious coffee, fresh pastries, and a menu full of local favorites. It’s the perfect place for a quick bite or a coffee break, making it a great complement to the co-working space.

Ti-Works occupies the back unit of 113 Montcalm St, providing a quiet, professional space for work while maintaining a direct connection to the café through an adjoining door. The co-working space features:

  • One room that accommodates up to three desks
  • A conference room with seating for six people
  • A private room for quiet work
  • Four shared desk spaces in the café area

The back unit also includes a soundproofed private office, a full kitchen, and an ADA-accessible bathroom. Users have the flexibility of entering through the café’s front entrance or using a private rear entrance, providing easy access and convenience.

This seamless layout allows users to enjoy both the vibrant, social atmosphere of Champ’s Café and the focused, quiet work environment of Ti-Works. Katie Anderson’s vibrant energy and commitment to the community make this partnership special, enhancing the experience with a unique blend of productivity and comfort. Whether you’re meeting clients, grabbing a coffee, or settling in for a productive workday, Ti-Works offers an inviting and flexible space tailored to meet your needs.

In addition, users have access to a color printer/scanner, high-speed Internet, a kitchenette with refrigerator, coffeemaker, and microwave, as well as an ADA-accessible bathroom. The space also offers excellent cell phone reception from all carriers.

The new location includes private parking behind the building and is just a short walk to the scenic La Chute River Trail, providing easy access for a refreshing break or a stroll between meetings.

As a Local Development Corporation (LDC), the Ticonderoga Revitalization Alliance (TRA) is dedicated to fostering economic growth and supporting local entrepreneurs. Our goal is to empower small businesses, not compete with them. By transitioning Ti-Works to private ownership under a local business owner like Katie Anderson, we are helping to create a sustainable business model while providing ongoing support. This is the best-case scenario for a project like Ti-Works, which was initially created by TRA to meet the needs of our community. We are excited to see Ti-Works evolve into a privately operated entity, while continuing to support its growth and success as a community resource.

FAQs

Can I really access the space 24/7?
Yes! While staff may not be on-site 24/7, you will have access anytime with your unique door code. The space is self-serve, so please keep it tidy, turn off the lights, and lock up when you leave.

Can I take calls from my desk?
Yes! The main room has a comfortable noise level similar to a typical office. If you need more privacy, you can book the “Privacy Room” or use the Conference Room if it’s available.

Can I leave my belongings at the office?
Yes, but it’s your choice. Some prefer to leave items at the office for long-term bookings, while others bring their work bags each day. The office is locked when unstaffed, and only users with unique door codes can access the space.

How do I get in?
Once you have made your space reservation, you will be given an access code to unlock the front door. This code will be active for the period of your reservation and assigned only to you. The space is accessible 24 hours/day. Please do not share it with anyone else. If you have difficulty accessing Ti-Works with your code, email our staff at booking@northcountryruraldevelopment.org or call 518-222-0378.
